The AMSKU member portal located at https://residents.amsku.com, together with our related Internet websites and social media pages (collectively, our “Site”), is operated by Advanced MSK Ultrasound Center LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, d/b/a Advanced Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Center (“AMSKU”, which may hereinafter be referred to as “us,” “we,” and “our”). AMSKU has created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to the privacy of our visitors, members, and residents.

Please be aware that anything you post in the community feed, in comments, or in messages, including personally identifiable information, is visible to other members of the Site (and to AMSKU staff). If you don’t want others to see such information, don’t post it.

Information Collection (Active & Passive)

We collect Active Information that you give us directly when you create an account, sign in, complete your profile, or purchase a membership. This includes your name, email address, telephone number, medical specialty, practice name, and an optional profile photo. When you enroll in the residency program, your enrollment contract provides the same details. We also collect the content you create on the Site: community posts, comments, direct messages, quiz answers, and course progress, which we use to run the Site and to issue continuing medical education (CME) certificates.

You sign in with a one-time code that we email to you; we never ask you to create or store a password with us.

We collect Passive Information automatically. The Site sets a single cookie to keep you signed in and stores your in-progress quiz answers in your browser. Our servers also log standard technical details such as your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of your visits so we can keep the Site secure and working. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Payments

Membership payments are processed by Stripe. When you check out or update your card, you do so on pages hosted by Stripe, and your full card number is sent directly to Stripe. AMSKU never sees or stores your full payment card details; we keep only a reference to your Stripe customer record and the status of your subscription.

SMS and Mobile Messaging

AMSKU respects your privacy regarding mobile communications. If you have opted-in to receive SMS/text messages from us, we will use your mobile number to provide information regarding onboarding, scheduling, training reminders, and access to resources. See our SMS Policy for how consent is collected.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Opt-Out: You may opt-out of text messaging at any time by replying "STOP" to any message you receive from us. For assistance, reply "HELP". Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

A Special Notice About Minor Children

Minors (children under the age of 18) are not eligible to use the Site unsupervised. Our Site does not target and is not intended for children under the age of 18, and we will not knowingly collect Personally Identifiable Information from them. If we discover personal data from a child through our site, we will eliminate that data.

How We Use and Share Information

We use your information to administer business activities, provide your courses and residency resources, run the community, provide customer support, send you notifications you have asked for, issue CME certificates, and process payments. We may share information with subcontractors or service providers solely to fulfill services for you. The providers we currently rely on are:

Note: As stated above, mobile/SMS opt-in data is strictly excluded from all data sharing or sales to third parties.

Your Choices

You can update your name, contact details, specialty, practice, and profile photo at any time from your profile page. You can turn reminder emails about unread notifications on or off from the same page. You can manage or cancel your membership from the billing page. You may also delete your account from your profile page, which removes your profile and content from the Site; we may keep records that we are legally required to retain, such as payment records and issued CME certificates.

Government and Legal Disclosure

We reserve the right to disclose your personal information to comply with a court order, subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process; to comply with legal, regulatory, or administrative requirements; or to protect and defend AMSKU in legal actions.

Security

We use reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure of your information. The Site is served over HTTPS, your session cookie cannot be read by scripts in the browser, and sign-in codes expire after a short time. However, standard email and form submissions may not be secure; if you choose to communicate through these means, you assume the risk of doing so.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of December 23, 2025 and was last updated on September 11, 2026. AMSKU reserves the right to modify these terms at any time by posting changes to this page. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the Policy in effect at that time.
